The Chapter 13 Standing Trustee serves the bankruptcy community by providing professional and efficient administration of Chapter 13 cases in an unbiased and fair manner.

Facilitating communication between the debtor and the creditors

The trustee collects the monthly payments from the debtor, and distributes the funds to the creditors according to the terms of the approved plan.

The trustee's duties also include making recommendations to the court regarding the plan's confirmation or modification.

A Fair Intermediary

Overall, the Chapter 13 bankruptcy trustee acts as a neutral intermediary between the debtor and the creditors, ensuring that the bankruptcy process proceeds smoothly, and the interests of both parties are protected to the extent possible under the bankruptcy laws.
